Echo Peak
Triple-gated and built of steel and concrete against the desert hillside—SkySide is a 23,748-square-foot, six-story architectural estate in Promontory Pointe at The Ridges, with a three-story primary suite, a courtyard pool with swim-up bar, indoor basketball court, recording studio, eight-car garage, and 360-degree views of the Strip and Red Rock Canyon.
The pool is in the center of the house. Not beside it, not behind it—inside it, ringed by the courtyard, five feet deep with a swim-up bar built into the edge. You float in it at midday with the desert sky open above you and the walls of SkySide rising on every side, six stories of steel and concrete, glass and stone, the mountains visible through gaps in the architecture, the Strip a distant shimmer beyond the ridge. This is the most private pool in Las Vegas, and you're the only one in it. You pull yourself out, towel off at the bar, and take the elevator up. Three commercial-size elevators connect the six levels, and the house reveals itself differently depending on which direction you're traveling. Going up: the main level opens into gray limestone floors, an oversized two-sided fireplace, quartzite counters in the kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling glass that pulls the courtyard pool into the great room like a reflection. The pocket doors at the entry are flanked by water features. The birch maple cabinets glow in the afternoon light. One level higher, two bedroom suites sit quietly on the main floor, a third on the second level. And then the primary suite begins, three stories of it. A living room with a wall-sized screen on the first. The bedroom on the second. And on the third, a private office and bar wrapped in 360-degree glass, the Strip and the mountains and the desert all visible simultaneously, like a control tower for a life built at altitude. Going down, the house turns into something else entirely. An indoor basketball court. A full gym. A wine cellar. A recording studio where the acoustics are as deliberate as the architecture. A salon and massage room. A meditation patio and Zen garden. An air-conditioned dog run. And an eight-car garage that handles a serious collection without breaking a sweat. Later, you take the elevator all the way to the rooftop, nearly five thousand square feet of patio, outdoor kitchen, Jacuzzi, fire pits, a pop-up movie screen, and the kind of 360-degree view that makes you understand why someone built six stories into a hillside to get here. The Crestron system dims the house below. The Strip lights up. The mountains disappear into the dark. And SkySide earns its name one more time.
